The Cavern Crossing gives Game Masters a versatile subterranean battlefield designed for encounters that need space without sacrificing interesting terrain. The flowing water naturally divides portions of the battlefield, while rock formations, cavern walls, elevation changes, and narrow crossings create opportunities for movement, positioning, pursuit, and discovery.

Use it as a dangerous passage through the underworld, the territory of a subterranean creature, a hidden meeting place, or simply one chamber in a much larger cave system. The environment establishes the battlefield without deciding the story for you.
